By accessing or using the SKAC Education E-Portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the portal.

2. Purpose of the Portal

The SKAC Education E-Portal is an official online platform operated by the Sonowal Kachari Autonomous Council (SKAC) for the administration of:

Subha Baruah Educational Awards 2026
Gyan Bikash Yojana 2026

The portal is intended solely for the submission and management of applications for these educational award schemes.

3. Authorised Use

Access to the portal is restricted to:

Authorised constituency office representatives assigned login credentials by SKAC
SKAC administrative staff and officers

Credentials are non-transferable. Sharing login details with unauthorised persons is strictly prohibited.

4. Accuracy of Information

Users are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted through the portal is accurate, complete, and truthful. Submission of false or misleading information may result in:

Rejection or cancellation of the application
Recovery of any award amount already disbursed
Disciplinary or legal action under applicable laws

5. Document Submissions

All documents uploaded must be genuine, current, and belong to the applicant. Uploading forged, altered, or irrelevant documents constitutes fraud and may be referred to appropriate authorities.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the system
Interfere with the portal's functionality or security
Submit multiple applications for the same student under the same scheme
Use the portal for any purpose other than its stated purpose
Attempt to scrape, copy, or reproduce portal data without authorisation

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software comprising the SKAC Education E-Portal are the property of the Sonowal Kachari Autonomous Council. No part may be reproduced or distributed without written permission.

8. Availability

SKAC makes reasonable efforts to maintain portal availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary unavailability.

9. Limitation of Liability

SKAC shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on portal content, temporary unavailability, or technical errors, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Changes to Terms

SKAC reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the portal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India and the State of Assam. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Dibrugarh, Assam.
